Betsy Maki
Betsy Maki was born and raised in Phillips, Wisconsin. She currently resides in Tripoli, WI with her husband and 2 young girls. She started in the insurance business in high school through a School To Work program. Betsy has been working with C.I.S. Insurance Agency since 2005 and currently holds the Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) designation and the Certified Insurance Service Representative (CISR) designation. Betsy is our in-house personal lines producer and personal lines customer service representative.
Mary Felzkowski
Mary Felzkowski, owner of C.I.S. Insurance Group, has been active in the insurance industry for 30 + years. She graduated from U.W. River Falls with majors in Economics, and Business Finance, with a minor in Animal Science. She currently holds the (C.I.C.) Certified Insurance Counselor designation.
Mary has sat on numerous boards for the Insurance Industry; Professional Insurance Agents of Wisconsin, (serving as Secretary, Treasurer, Vice President, President and National Director), National Professional Insurance Agents, and the National Alliance for Insurance Education and Research’s Certified Insurance Service Representative Board.
In addition, Mary has served on numerous Boards and Committees in her community.
Shar Kirsch
Sharlene Kirsch recently joined CIS Group. She is currently licensed in Property and Casualty. Shar has been a resident of Tomahawk since 1993 and has two children. She was born and raised in West Bend, WI. She holds a B.A. in Education from Lakeland College, Sheboygan, WI as well as a B.S. in Human Resource from Rasmussen College in Wausau, WI. Shar was formerly an employee at Harley Davidson, a teacher in the Tomahawk School District and the Director of Tomahawk Child Care. She was actively involved with the Tomahawk Jaycees, Tomahawk Figure Skating Club as well as the Tomahawk Youth Hockey Association. She enjoys camping, four-wheeling, fishing, sewing and simply taking in the Northwoods scenery in her… “spare” time.
Taryn Rampart
Taryn comes to us as our new CSR. She has many years of experience in both the insurance world and customer service. Taryn is originally from West Allis. Her family relocated to the Northwoods when she was a teenager. Her and her husband, Todd, have three boys. In her spare time, she enjoys fishing, camping, spending time with family and friends, or curling up with a good book. Taryn will be obtaining her property and casualty license, along with being notarized for the office.
